oakleaf hydrangeas

My oakleaf hydrangeas are flourishing this year. They've survived the drought-like conditions of previous years. They've survived wind and hair and flooding. Like the state in which they and I are planted, they have overcome and are thriving. I take great pleasure in that. The past couple of years, they have bloomed so poorly I feared for their survival. They have sprung back beyond my expectation and almost beyond belief.
