On the family blog formerly used by myself and no one else, I felt some duty to direct posts toward family members and events. I do that here, too, but only if I want to. Otherwise, I write about whatever I like. I write about what interests me. I write about my observations and recollections.
Now that I have my own blog I can write what I want to. Within reason, that is. I am endeavoring not to write anything that embarrasses me or anyone else. I am endeavoring not to divulge any family secrets (though truth is, we have precious few of those.) I might even be writing to entertain myself.
I can do that. After all, it is my blog.
