Watching the set up for the Pilgrimage Queens ball as we waited for our table for lunch at the Carriage House was fabulous. We asked for, and received permission to photograph the decorations as they were being assembled.
There were true floral artists at work under those great white tents on the grounds of Stanton Hall. I am thrilled that we got to see their work.
The opportunity was not unlike the unexpected chance to watch the crews set up for the Pope's Palm Sunday service at the Vatican on our last Sisters' Trip.
Blessed bonuses are what I would call both opportunities!
